RULES AND REQUIREMENTS

EACH STUDENT IS REQUIRED:

● Migratory Status: Must have a Social Security Number
● Have a binder and Laptop
● Physically attend to be able to understand the basic principles of tax preparation and obtain a preparer number with the IRS
● No absences allowed (Money will not be reimbursed)
● LArrive 15 minutes early before every class.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF A TAX PREPARER?

United States law requires that all tax preparers register with the IRS. Once registered, a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) will be given.

The IRS requires tax preparers to complete a minimum of 15 credit hours of education such as:

• Two hours of professional conduct or ethics.
• Three hours of Federal Tribune Law Updates.
• Ten hours of Federal Court Law.

Final exam will be taken by each student through a computer.

Responsibilities of each student prior to class:

1- Read the textbook before class
2- Complete and revise questions
3- Complete practices of tax preparation
4- Come to class prepared to ask questions over topics that are unclear about the previous class.

Our study material process consists of two steps:

● The student will arrive to class ready to listen to explanations and practice scenarios in which the instruction will provide the class.
● The student must enter the student platform to review, answer, and complete the tax return practices.
